Your account

You are responsible for what you publish on your HappyLinks pages, including that your product recommendations are honest and that you have the right to use any image you upload.

Your affiliate relationships

Affiliate relationships are yours. You enrol with Amazon Associates and any other program directly, you store your own tags with us, and commissions are paid to you by those programs. HappyLinks never handles that money and takes no share of it.

You are responsible for following each program’s rules. We build links using the tags you give us and check ordinary product links for breakage, and we cannot guarantee any particular program will accept a link or pay a commission.

Disclosure

Every HappyLinks page carries an affiliate disclosure, and you can reword it but not remove it. That is a tool to help you remember something you already have to do. It is not legal advice and it is not a guarantee that your page meets the FTC’s requirements or anyone else’s. Whether your disclosures are adequate is your responsibility.

Email addresses you collect

When a visitor subscribes on your page, HappyLinks is the data controller for that address while it is in our system, and our privacy policy covers it.

When you export a list, that copy becomes yours. From that point you are responsible for it. Send people only what they signed up for, honour every unsubscribe request, delete an address when someone asks, and do not sell or transfer the list.

Plans

The free plan includes one page. Pro costs $9 a month or $99 a year and includes up to three pages, a custom domain, and no HappyLinks branding.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, which deletes your pages, your products, and the subscriber addresses collected on your pages. Export anything you want to keep first.
